Explore the attractions at Coffs Harbour

You will need to make notes and decide which ones you want to visit and which ones will have to wait until you come back next time. There simply is no way to get to see and do everything in one visit!

Coffs Harbour Water activities

With Ocean activities such as Fishing Tours, Captain Cooper’s Charters, East Coast Surf School, Jetty Dive Centre, Pacific Blue Dive Centre, and Island Snorkel and Dive, just to name a few – how is one to decide?

Coffs Harbour: Snorkelling and scuba diving

Those are just a few of the ocean activities offered. During some of these tours, you can learn to sea kayak and have the chance to get up close and personal with the dolphins or the whales as they are swimming in the Pacific. Or you can take a snorkelling or scuba diving lesson or two (if you are not proficient at either) and visit some of the most incredible underwater marine life your eyes have ever beheld.

Nature walks in Coffs Harbour

For those who prefer to keep their feet on solid ground, there are plenty of Nature Walks to be taken at places such as Bindarri National Park, Muttonbird Island Walk, Coffs Creek Walk, and Sawtell Headline Walk among many others. These walks cover many different types of terrain from a walk along a secluded portion of the beach to a rare coastal rainforest and everything in between.

The Big Banana at Coffs Harbour

There are several award winning tourist hot spots that are definitely must-sees for everyone. The Big Banana will take you through a magnificent banana plantation, including a skywalk above the trees. Play with the dolphins at the Pet Porpoise Pool or watch the whales migrating to or from the south out at the Solitary Islands. Of course, George’s Gold Mine and the Kiwi Down Under are incredible places too. With so many things to do, you will have to think carefully about how to spend your time.

Regardless of the time of year you visit, whether you prefer extreme water sports, taking long walks along the 90km of golden sand beaches, skydive or go white water rafting, there is something for every taste and every budget.

Do not forget to take your appetite for shopping along with you. While that golfer in your family is spending time checking out the greens, you can spend hours in all the shops and boutiques dotted throughout the community. Speaking of appetites, the physical appetite must also be fed.

Coffs Harbour Restaurants and Cafes

In addition, there are many cafés, restaurants and lounges offering every type of cuisine the mind can imagine and the stomach can enjoy. Mouthwatering delicacies, especially SEAFOOD, await you at every turn.
